In 2015, United Nations addressed 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which has aroused global attention. The purpose of these goals is to guide citizens to come up with innovation resolutions ending all forms of poverty, fighting inequalities and tackling climate change by 2030.

I believe you have found that more and more people are engaged in environmental protection, social care and other issues on sustainable development. In order to fulfill University Social Responsibility, National University of Kaohsiung keep dedicating school energy into sustainable development actions, we initiate “2022 Sustainable NUK project”.

National University of Kaohsiung and Impact Hub Taipei launch “The survey on awareness of sustainability”, which aims to get you know more about your knowledge on sustainable development issues. You must be curious about your “Sustainability Level”, let’s join it!

This test includes five parts: sustainable cognition, sustainable attitude, sustainable behavior, awareness of National University of Kaohsiung’s sustainability plan. Through this test, you can not only understand yourself but also know how much you can do on sustainable development actions in the future. Moreover, For school these valuable information also can be used to design sustainable courses and plans fitting students’ demands in future.

Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The aim of this resolution is to achieve these 17 goals by 2030 with a view towards ending all forms of poverty, fighting inequalities and tackling climate change while ensuring that no one is left behind.

The implement of Sustainable Development Goals has given Taiwan the opportunity to overcome political constraints and cooperate with other countries internationally. The social innovation capacity of Taiwan enables us to develop unique strength in promoting sustainable actions, which has spread Taiwan Can Help all over the world.

How can we practice sustainable development goals from an individual perspective? Through individual behavior changes, action initiatives, referendums and so on, we can do more sustainable action and decision-making for a friendly environment and social justice.
